Next Saturday will probably be my last shift at work, even though I was told February 5th. Whatever, I guess.
Good thing I bought season one of Glee last night (as a last-thing-I-can-buy-myself-before-having-no-income) because that cheers me up. I think curling up in bed with some hot chocolate & Glee will make my day much better.
My love & I are going out for dinner tonight & I have butterflies waiting for him to get here.

This year, I will find my potential.
I have a huge desire to change things lately. My room, my tumblr, my life. I guess losing my job has made me just want to change everything. I’m sure this will pass.
Also, I have a thing for green lately. I think it’s my way of hoping that maybe I’ll inspire spring to hurry the heck up & get here.
I’m trying so hard not to let the whole being out of a job in a couple of weeks thing get me down, but after spending hours looking at job websites and finding NOTHING, it’s not really going so well.
Now I get to go to work and listen to my co-workers talk about how worried they are about which new position they’ll have. It’s going to take all of my willpower not to scream...
I got the news today that I will be laid off in February. If you hate your job, keep in mind that at least you HAVE one.
